To discover humanity in the Dominican Republic let the locals show you their culture. Walk with them into the history of the island and the tropical rainforests. Learn from them, how to make rum, chocolate and cigars. Let them teach you, how to dance bachata, ride a wave and enjoy a game of dominoes. To discover humanity in the Dominican Republic, experience the values of kindness and family. To discover Humanity in the Dominican Republic listen to the words of its people. “What message would you like to send to the rest of the world?” I’ll say it again; those in power should lead the world better in order to give us all opportunities in life. There shouldn’t be so many borders, that in order to travel in other countries you need a visa. If God made everything free, He made us all free, then why shouldn’t we be able to travel freely in the world? What has to change to make everything fine is that people need to be peaceful, without pressure or problems. Then everything can go well… Ok, I want to tell the rest of the world is to stop cutting trees, I mean, nature is super beautiful and when you see a tree getting old, those big, old, old, old trees, that’s super beautiful. I would like to say: let’s try to help other people, help one another because that would make us much better. That’s what I think. I would like to say to the rest of the world that we should always look towards new horizons, that we have to be more responsible, especially with the environment and with the way that we interact with other cultures because that says a lot about who we are and about the place we come from. God loves us, He loves us all and the answer is in Christ. Acceptance. I would send this message to the whole world; accept each-other and live in peace. Compassion, compassion for each other and love. We all come from the same place, we are all the same. A message of hope, believe in the future, believe in our children, and start working for them, for us to become a better world. Hold on to your God no matter what your idiosyncrasy is, and understand that we have to see the world like children. Whatever they experience, children just smile. We must share between countries, and benefit from the culture of each one. Take the good things and make a better world for us all. Teach values. This has to start in every family. If, in every place, we educate our children better, the world would be better. No matter how bad the world is, every action we take to improve it will count, and no matter how small our actions are, they are worth it. Little by little, if we all do a small action, we’ll do something big, so we should never give up on improving the way things are. Follow your dream, always fight and struggle to achieve your goal. Never rest. Always hope to improve, to become a better person and a better human being. Make an effort to be more connected with nature, with Mother Earth, take care of her, and be respectful of her, since we are all part of her. Our modern society’s needs, the goals that they are teaching us are very superficial. We work to have things, not to have life, and we must change. We should nurture the spirit, our own spirit, be good to ourselves and then be able to be good with others and good with the world. I would like to send this message to the rest of the world: be aware of yourself, love yourself and respect the environment and nature because that’s what gives us life, what makes us alive.
